Lee Michael Williams entered heaven on Good Friday, April 3, 2026, in Denver, Colorado, surrounded by his immediate family — his wife of 43 years, Renee Williams; his daughter, Amber O'Bryant and her husband Shaun; and his son, Ryan Williams and his wife Anne Marie.
Lee was born on December 12, 1958, in Salina, Kansas, to Gary Williams and Sandra Goertz. He was a beloved brother to Stuart Williams, Marthana Hall, and Jennifer Berlowitz.
Lee found the love of his life in Salina, Kansas, where he met and married his cherished Renee. Together they built a beautiful life, raising their daughter Amber and son Ryan. He was a devoted and loving husband and father, and while his faith and trust in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of his life, family was always treated as a very close second.
Lee was a graduate of Kansas State University, earning a degree in Electrical Engineering, and went on to build a distinguished career as a Chief Engineer. He was the kindest and most patient man, always ready to lend a hand to fix anything around his house or anyone in need. He had a great love for the mountains, and made many memories skiing with those he loved most.
Lee is survived by his beloved wife, Renee Williams; his daughter, Amber O'Bryant and her husband Shaun; his son, Ryan Williams and his wife Anne Marie; and his five grandchildren — Corianne, Genevieve, Josephine, Carina, and Adalee, who miss their Papa dearly. He is also survived by all his siblings, and was preceded in death by both parents.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church (4125 Constitution Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80909) at 10:30 a.m. on April 11, 2026 with a reception immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations made in Lee's memory to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or NMDP.org. The family also wishes to extend their deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff of the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute and St. Luke's Hospital in Denver, whose extraordinary care and compassion brought great comfort to Lee and his family throughout his courageous battle with Leukemia.
