
Linda was born in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Charles Arvil and Ida Mae Hipwell of West Weber, Utah on September 19, 1942. She married Ronald Clarence Lee of Nephi, Utah on September 19, 1969 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The couple moved to Annapolis, Maryland and later Arnold and Millersville, Maryland.
Linda served as a missionary for the LDS church in the South German mission 1963-1965. She also served in various callings for the church in the Relief Society and Primary organizations. Linda worked 23 years in the family publishing business in Arnold and Millersville, Maryland until 1991. At the time of her death Linda was employed by the Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company in Colorado Springs.
Linda is survived by her husband, Ronald, her daughters Wendy Barnett and her husband Darrell of Colorado Springs, Amy Lee Gove and her husband Michael of St. Mary, Florida, Rebecca Ann Wabst and her husband Mike of Boise, Idaho, her brother LaVar Hipwell and seven grandchildren, Bradley, Joshua and Nathan Barnett; Amanda, Hayden, and Samantha Gove; and Connor Wabst.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all that have helped us in so many ways during this time.
We know that families are forever and we will see her again.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, January 22, 2011 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS),
1310 Aeroplaza Drive in Colorado Springs. Viewing will be held from 1 to 2pm. Internment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs
