On Dec 13, 2015, we lost our hero. Lloyd C. Lindeman came into the world on June 29, 1922 in Fargo, North Dakota. He grew up in Minnesota during the Great Depression. At the age of 18 he joined the U.S. Army. He fought in WWII in the Italian Campaign and earned a Silver Star for valor in combat at the age of 22. He returned to Minnesota after the war and married Lillian Holter, who he spent the next 58 years with until her death in 2003. He retired as a Command Sergeant Major from the U.S. Army in 1966. He started working for the Post Office in 1967 and spent the next 20 years as a letter carrier in downtown Colorado Springs. He finally retired in 1987 and was able to enjoy many good years on the golf course. He is survived by his daughters Sandra Wyatt, Denise Rogers and Candice Argabright and son Keith Lindeman as well 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. We were blessed to have such a wonderful father and grandfather. We find comfort in knowing that he believed that Jesus Christ was his Savior so, it’s not goodbye forever but, until we meet again in Heaven. A visitation will be held, Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. all at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO. 80910.
