Loyd Robert Fischer

He was born on May 22, 1926 in Republic, KS to Harry Fred and Susie Emily Fischer. He married Marilyn Darlene Kuhn on June 19, 1949 in Superior, NE.

He worked at Samsonite from 1968 to 1989 as a luggage repairman. He retired in 1989.

He is survived by two daughters: Karen Lee Fischer of Ramah, CO and Debra Ann Pugsley of Colorado Springs; four grandchildren: Sean Michael Sutherland of Phoenix, AZ, Spencer Matthew Sutherland of Westminster, CO, Keith Pugsley of Colorado Springs, CO and Alyssa Renee Pugsley of Florence, CO; six great grandchildren; Sabrina Karen Sutherland, Trevor Loyd Sutherland, David Matthew Sutherland, Alexandria M. Daniels, Tristan Alan Sampang and Olivia Corene Sampang, two brothers: Ivan Gene Fischer of Byron, NE and Dale Larry Fischer of Doniphan, NE and one sister: Lenna Mae Forsberg of Scandia, KS.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Darlene Kuhn and one granddaughter, Alaina Leone Pugsley.

A Visitation will be held, Friday, December 5, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with services following all at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, located at 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO. 80910. Burial will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
