

Margee (Dawn) Collins was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts. She grew up in a Navy family, where she resided in Massachusetts, Texas, Japan, and here in Colorado, to include Ramah and Colorado Springs. She went to High School in Simla, CO.
She graduated from National American University, in Colorado Springs, with a bachelor's degree.
In her career, she started as an enrollment representative, and at the height of her career, she was a Director of Admissions, and a Training Administrator, as she oversaw enrollment operations in 12 different campuses in Canada. That came by having a passion for helping and mentoring people of all walks of life, advancing themselves through education. Even after she had enrolled students, she kept up with students and counseled them and helped them along the way. She believed in the work she did, which brought a fluency in her career.
Dawn's passions were her family and friends. She absolutely adored her mother, Marguerite J Butterbaugh, who preceded Dawn in death. Dawn was also preceded in death by her father Keith Butterbaugh, and her sister Pammy. Dawn also had a passion for her pets, as she adopted and spoiled so many dogs, cats, and birds in her lifetime. She also spent time in her younger days caring for and riding horses. In her younger days, she loved to go dancing in the 80's and 90's, and her favorite music was Motown and disco. She was always generous to anyone she knew who was in need. Her special place was the ocean, in San Diego, CA. she also enjoyed various cars that she had throughout her lifetime. Dawn had the gift of quick wit, and a sense of humor, and could always make people laugh. One of Dawn's favorite things to do was to play the slots at Cripple Creek. Dawn is survived by her adopted Father Dan Cook, Husband Al Cutino, Son Donny Smith, Stepson Jacob Cutino and Daughter in Law Natalie Cutino, two Granddaughters Abigail Smith, and Luna Cutino, special friends Fred, Annette, and Dieter, and other surviving family members.
