

Maria Teresa Rodriguez was an extremely outgoing person. Her joys in life were filled by helping others. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on 17 June 1981. However, she was raised in several different areas due to her father's military commitments. Her parents are Peter Rodriguez and Myriam Rodriguez. Her siblings included Elia Morales and Pedro Rodriguez.
Maria liked to use her middle name, "Tere". She was a daughter, sister, and most importantly a mother.
Maria was the youngest of the three. She was known for her loyalty to close ones. She was 5'8", the tallest and the loudest in the family.
Growing up she was involved in numerous sports to include: Judo, basketball, and softball. She demonstrated tremendous courage during her Judo fights. During her spare time, Maria enjoyed listening to R&B and Spanish artist like Jerry Rivera, but she loved Reggeton. She always danced without an ounce of shyness.
She attended Sierra High School in 1995 and graduated with the class of 1999. Her favorite classes were anything involving science. She loved geology and biology. After High School, Tere attended several different colleges with an intrest in medical studies.
Maria was blessed with her baby girl, Sereida Ruiz on Feburary 4th, 1999 in Evans Hospital, Fort Carson, Colorado. There was never a doubt who Maria's daughter was because they looked exactly alike.
Her primary occupation involved family support center which delt with helping military member's family get through difficult situations. This job allowed Maria the oppurtunity to give back. She had a unique ability to listen to anyones problems and give optomistic perspective in any situation.
During her adult life, she began following the Messianic religion. Many times, her father gave bible studies and prayers. She was a strong believer in God.
