Marilyn was born in Washington D.C., on June 2, 1932, to Walter Leroy Fowler and Florence Kindle Fowler. She loved growing up in D.C. and shared many fond memories with family and friends. She also lived in Boston, MA, for a few years before moving to St. Louis, MO. After several years and many friends, she relocated to Colorado Springs in 1995 to be near her daughter and granddaughter. She loved her Lord and Savior and was a wonderful cook, mother, and grandmother.
She loved traveling, but her heart was always with the state and people of Israel. She volunteered for many years with the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary (SAWA), where she met many cherished friends.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Laura L. Otero, and son-in-law, Ted M. Otero. In addition, she leaves behind her most cherished granddaughter, Nicolle L. Carroll.
