Mark A Parr

July 20, 1962 – September 21, 2010

Born at Fort Carson Hospital to Phyllis Mynatt Parr and James William Parr. He lived in many places while his father was in the Navy; the Philippines, Guantanamo, Cuba and throughout the USA. A graduate of Wasson High School, Mark graduated from Devry University in Kansas City. He served in the Navy eight years as a Submariner and Recruiter.

He returned to Colorado Springs in 1997 and worked as a supervisor in the electronics industry until becoming a full time student at UCCS.

His greatest pleasures were dancing and enjoying the mountains with his sons and friends.

Survivors are mother Phyllis Parr, father James Parr (Noni), sons Glenn, Steven and Brent, brother James Jr. (Julie), sister Jean Kendall (Robert), former spouse Glennette, two nieces, three nephews, great nieces, nephews, a large extended family and the lady he loved Paula Ketterson.

All ages of friends and colleagues loved and respected Mark. His bright smile, quick wit and great hugs will be missed.

A memorial in his name is established at Ent Federal Credit Union. Memorial service will be at First Presbyterian Church; Monday September 27th, 11:00 am.
