

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, J and Corine Luna. She has four siblings, Dr. Raymond Luna, Dr Alice Luna Massey (Patrick), Priscilla Hurley (Mike), and Julie Luna (Miguel).
Mary Ann was married to Keith Luers on 8/13/1983. Together, they had three children – Jonathan, Nathan and Jessica Luers
Mary Ann graduated from the University of New Mexico with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and worked as an electrical engineer for a few years, then dedicated herself to her family. Mary Ann also focused on tutoring math for various home school groups, Academy D20 and privately. She loved the relationships she developed with the students and their families for the next 35 + years.
Mary Ann was a member of Village Seven Presbyterian Church and was heavily involved with the women’s ministry and Grandma’s prayer team at Church for All Nations. She had recently become involved with a local quilter’s club and guild.
She had a passion for her faith in Jesus Christ. Mary Ann ministered to young adult ladies, cared for her family, studied the Scriptures, and maintained her close relationships. She loved the outdoors, riding her trike, hiking, swimming, and quilting. She volunteered at various nonprofit organizations, most recently at the Pikes Peak Library and Reclaiming Hope.
Mary Ann was an overcomer and fighter to the end of multiple cancer treatments, an amputation, and other health issues. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
Mary Ann is survived by Keith Luers (spouse), Jonathan Luers (and wife Sandy), Nathan Luers and (wife Lydia),Jessica Luers and grandchildren Abigail, Azaa, Asher.
