Toni was born in Woburn, Massachusetts on February 9, 1931, the daughter of Edward & Genevieve (Donovan) Hyde. Toni attended Catholic School her entire schooling and graduated at the top of her class from Mission Catholic High School. Shortly thereafter, the family moved to Colorado Springs. Toni and her sister Pat (McCord) were inseparable. She met the love of her life James Reilly and was married April 15, 1955. Her sister Pat married Jim’s best friend and the “four musketeers” were created.
Toni started her family and had three sons; James, Edward and Kevin. Family was everything to Toni. Toni never met anyone that didn’t become family. Neighbors, church members, service providers, her son’s friends were all family.
Toni volunteered based on need. Decorating the church, receptionist at Penrose hospital, school mom, Cub Scout Leader, New Born Hope coordinator. If you needed a ride “Call Mom!”
Artist, naturalist, humanitarian and business woman are but a few words to describe “Mom”. She was actively involved in the family business. If needed, wash a car, created a logo or host an impromptu event. Just a few of the hats she wore.
She is survived by her sons James (Pam), Eddie, Kevin, six grandchildren: Jenna, Jimmy, Joseph Shannon, Brian and Steven. Four great- grandchildren: Piper, Liam, Heidi and Bradley. Also survived by all friends that were family! Mom (Toni) will be missed!
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 1:30 pm at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2410 N. Cascade Ave, 80907.
