Michael Alan Hanke

Michael was born on 2/10/1947 in Minneapolis, MN to Sylvester “Bud” & Violet Hanke. He was a paratrooper in the Army under the 101st Air Born Division (1966'-1969') and served in the Vietnam War. Michael graduated from the University of Minnesota, Duluth (1974’) and received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Psychology, later receiving a master’s degree in Family Counseling at the University of Wisconsin, Superior. Michael married Judy Ann Ralston on 11/9/68. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bradley. He is survived by his sister, Judy (Jim) & brother, Kim, his wife Judy, 2 children, Shawn (Jennifer), Tyson (Tina), 2 grandchildren Michael Thomas & Chloe Marie, and nieces and nephews. Michael loved playing golf and making friends. He was a man of faith and was loved by all.
