Michael Morell

We are deeply saddened to announce Michael H. Morell, aged 41, very beloved husband, father, and son, who passed away unexpectedly at his home in Colorado Springs, CO on February 14, 2024. He was a life-long Colorado Springs native, born to Robert and Juanita (Frank) Morell.

Mike graduated from Colorado Springs Christian School in 2001. He attended Nazarene Bible College for two years after. His immense passion to serve people brought him most recently to Apria Healthcare in 2018, where he was a Branch Team Operations Manager.

In January of 2004, he met Jessica Beethe, and they were married April 23, 2005. The absolute love of his life, his only daughter, Braelyn Dawn, was born October 6, 2018. She was the light of his life.

Mike loved God, his family, and football. A passionate 49ers fan, he loved spending his time watching the NFL, however during the summer, you could catch him either hitting balls at the range, fly fishing in the mountains, or spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Jessy; daughter, Braelyn; his mother, Juanita (Colorado Springs), and siblings, nieces and nephew, and many friends. Mike was predeceased by his father, Robert.

Memorial Service will take place at Roswell Community Church, 2728 Beacon St., Colorado Springs, 80907, on Saturday, March 2 at 10 A.M, concluding with a reception at the church.
