He was born on June 6, 1958 in Colorado Springs. He was the son of the late Samuel R and Lola B. Shuck. He graduated from Widefield High School. He then enlisted in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. While serving in the Navy he was stationed at various locations around the world. Serving also with the Marines, three ships and many duty stations. He found that his time in Guam to be his favorite.
After 22 years he retired aboard the USS Carr, as a Navy Chief Hospital Corpsman. He received numerous decorations, medals, badges, citations and campaign ribbons to include Navy Commendation Medal, Navy and Marines Corps Achievement medal.
He is survived by this brother Robert L. Shuck of Barrigada, Guam and his life long friend Judith A Shuck or Portsmouth, Virginia, as well as several cousins.
