

Mildred was born June 12, 1917 on a farm near Sutton, NE to Leo and Rosalie Gray. She was raised in Anselmo, NE where she graduated from high school in 1934.
For approximately twenty years Mildred and first husband Jim owned and operated a neighborhood grocery store Rasby’s Market in Lexington, Nebraska. After selling the grocery store in 1969 she moved to Arvada, CO then Greeley CO. In the summer of 2003, due to declining health, Mildred moved to Colorado Springs, CO to be near her daughter. The most important people in her life were her family. Her love and dedication to family was a true testament to her caring nature. Mildred especially enjoyed sewing, making crafts, and playing bridge with friends. She attended Broadmoor United Church of Christ of Colorado Springs, CO.
Mildred was preceded death by her parents, first husband Adam Robert Louis “Jim” Rasby in 1991 and second husband Derald Biggerstaff in 2007, brother James Leo Gray and step-son Derald Biggerstaff Jr. of Playa Del Rey, CA.
Mildred is survived by son Douglas (Deborah) Rasby, Columbus, NE two daughters Karen Blodgett, Littleton, CO, Kathy (Scott) Pursley, Colorado Springs, CO and step daughter Wendela Biggerstaff of Playa Del Rey, CA. Mildred has six grandchildren: Michael Blodgett, Cheryl Blodgett, Greg Rasby, Katie (Mark) Hemje, Ryan Pursley, Katie (Dave) Busch and one step grandson, Stephen (Christina) Biggerstaff. Mildred has three great grandchildren: Nigel, Louie and Matt Radliff and two great step grandchildren: Reese and Brandon Biggerstaff.
A private family graveside service will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington, NE.
