Mildred Marie Files

Mildred Files, age 94 of Colorado Springs, Colorado, previously Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on March 8, 2023. Alzheimer's set in at a later age, but fortunately she had only suffered the effects of this horrible disease in the last 6 months of her life. She enjoyed traveling during her time as a military wife, adding to her numerous and varied collections, and playing slot machines. She is survived by her daughter Gail Barr, son-in-law Rodney Barr, granddaughter April Bruce (husband Taylor Bruce), and great grandchildren Rylen, Caleb, and Makenzie Bruce. Because of her desire to not have a funeral, there will be a private farewell attended by her family.
