

Mitch was born on January 3, 1963, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a life-long resident of Colorado. He graduated from Lewis-Palmer High School in 1981.
Mitch worked as an auto mechanic most of his life, although his talent for jewelry making earned him to be known locally acclaimed. Mitch’s passion layed in the great outdoors, he was an avid fisherman, climber, and gold prospector. He was a member of the Gold Prospectors Association of America.
Mitch is survived by his mother, Helen Eichman and sister, Ginger Chase. Mitch is also survived by Jim, Eric, and Michelle Berkey, as well as numerous friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Louise Chase; sister, Rene Eichman; and nephew, Joshua Warves.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the Swan-Law Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave. Colorado Springs, Colorado. Pastor Jack Rants will officiate.
To honor those who helped Mitch so much throughout his illness, donations can be made to Pikes Peak Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
