

Pamela Rae Bartlett, 62, was received into the kingdom of heaven on Sunday February 26th 2012, at 8:40 pm. Pam ultimately was taken by complications of her lifelong battle with Von Hippel-Lindau syndrome. It was her wish that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the VHL Family Alliance to support further research and education on VHL. Donations can be made by mail, phone or online:

Her loving husband of 43 years, Edwin, survives Pam. She is also survived by her two loving sons, Scott (wife Shelly) and Andrew (wife Leah) and her 5 grandchildren. Her sister, Shari Lapacek (husband George) of Fort Wayne, IN also survives Pam.
Pam dedicated her life to service of the safety and security of her family, loved ones and country through 32 years of federal civil service that included work for the US Air Force in personnel, administration, security and intelligence roles. Pam lovingly served the Lord and her church, First United Methodist Church, in a vast number of roles including member of the choir for 25 years, served on the pastor-parish committee, served as a delegate to the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Methodist Church and as secretary for the church’s administrative board.
Pam will be interred in the columbarium of First United Methodist Church and a public memorial will take place on Wednesday March 14th at 2:00 pm in the main sanctuary at 420 N. Nevada Ave. in Colorado Springs.
