Patsy Ayala, 75, of Phoenix, Arizona transitioned from this life to Heaven at 1:48 a.m. on May 26, 2020. She was sleeping peacefully with her cat, Aspen, her favorite stuffed animal, Squishy and her daughter, Donna by her side.
Petra Perez (Patsy) was born to Fidencio and Miceala Perez of Cameron, Texas on January 23, 1945. She was adopted by Aurelia Garza and Matilde Rodriguez of Rio Hondo, Texas.
Patsy Rodriguez (22) and Johnny Ayala (26) of Brush, Colorado were married on December 23, 1967. After her husband, John passed away in a coal mine explosion on April 15, 1981 in Redstone, Colorado; she moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado to be near family. She then moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2000 to be close to Donna and her Grandchildren. She was devoted to her family and Christian faith. Her favorite days were to go on country rides and adventure out on mountain tails to enjoy treasures of Mother Nature. Those golden moments were like sunshine to her soul.
She is survived by her children; Dion Ayala, Daisy Ayala and Donna Ayala-Herrera, Grandchildren, Angelina Herrera and Sedona Herrera Sisters; Estrella Curial and Zulema Gallegos, Brothers; Gustavo Perez and David Perez, Cats; (Fur Babies) Aspen Blue and Black Pearl and her church Family - Christ’s Church, Pastor Todd Kirkpatrick.
She is preceded in passing by her Grandfather; Papa Loretto Garza, Husband; Johnny Ayala, Sisters; Ruth Scott and Mary Leal and Brothers; Joe Rodriquez, Leopoldo Perez and Fidencio Perez.
