Peter P. Valas

July 12, 1930 ~ May 30, 2011

Peter, born to George and Agnes Valas in Chicago Illinois, passed away after 80 years surrounded by his loving family. Peter dedicated 22 years to the United States Army. After serving in the military he was a teacher in Europe and the United States.

He is survived by his loving wife Ichiyo, their two children Paul (Karen) Valas and Athea (Jim) Hancock. He will also be greatly missed by his three grandchildren Justin (Nadienka) Valas, Molly Hancock and Jadelyn Hancock, and three sisters, Jean, Florence and Fran.

The visitation for Peter will be Thursday June 2, 2011 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral Services will be Friday June 3, 2011 at 10 a.m. with the burial to follow. All will be held at Memorial Gardens 3825 Airport Rd. Colo. Spgs. CO. 80910.
