From infancy, she grew up in Wymore, Nebraska, where she spent her early years before moving to Lincoln at the age of 18. There, she married and welcomed her daughter, Roxi, embracing motherhood with love and dedication.
After the birth of her daughter, she found a career in teaching ballroom dancing, where she enjoyed teaching, meeting new people, and sharing her love of music and movement with others.
She later devoted herself to helping young people in need through her work with NCCY, where she made a meaningful difference in the lives of many juveniles by offering guidance, understanding, and support. Her work reflected her generous spirit and unwavering belief in second chances.
In later years, she moved to Colorado Springs to be closer to her family, who were always at the center of her life. She found her greatest happiness in time spent with loved ones, especially during the holidays. She had a deep love for all types of music, which was a constant source of joy and connection throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Roxi; her grandson, Cody; and her sister, Betty, along with extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she cherished.
