Ronald Rex Loehr

Ronald was born in a farm house on March 27, 1938 in Fairland, OK. In 1943, the family moved to Colorado Springs. He graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1956. He worked at many different jobs, but finally retired from the Colorado Springs Water Department after 35 years of service. In 1966, he married Rosalie Daniels, and they enjoyed 52 years of wedded bliss. In 1987, Ron and Rosalie moved to Canon City. Ron liked to bowl and play golf. He also enjoyed the many trips and adventures with Rosalie and many friends. Preceding him in death is Rosalie in 2019, brothers Gene and Adolph, and sister Betty, and his parents. He is survived by daughters Heidi McClure and Deanna Johnson, as well as son Bill. He has many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Visitation will take place at 10:00am, followed by an 11:00am funeral service, and a 2:00pm graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery. Flowers can be sent to Swan-Law Funeral Directors.
