Ronald A. Walters

Ronald was born on August 24, 1934 on Staten Island, NY to George and Louise Walters. He was the youngest of three children which included Henrietta and Geraldine.

Ronald graduated from New Dorp High School in 1952. He then joined the Navy in 1956 where he had the opportunity to travel and work in the Caribbean.

After the Navy Ronald began working at American Cyanamid. It was at Cyanamid where Ron met Frances Coluccio, who became his wife in 1968. Ronald was predeceased by Frances in 1994.

Ronald moved to Colorado Springs in 2000. He thoroughly enjoyed Colorado and spent a great deal of time traveling around the state in his trusted Cadillac. He took full advantage of the beautiful weather spending time walking the trail near his house, and taking photographs when the opportunity arose.

Ronald leaves behind loving Children Douglas (Patty) Walters, PA, Rene Walters, CO, Gerrit (Ryan) Walters, NJ, and Robert Walters (Eunmi Ban), PA. Precious grandchildren, Nicholas (Brittany), Jessica (Jeffery), Christopher (Taylor), Anthony, and Nina. Great Grandchildren Peyton and Dominic; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Rosary for Ronald will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 10:30 AM, with a Visitation to follow until 2:00 PM, at Chapel of Memories, 829 South Hancock, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

A Graveside Service will occur Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expy, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
