On the morning of December 6, 2021, Ron Watkins entered heaven. Ron was born to Eugene and Janet (Morse) Watkins on April 23, 1953. He grew up in Bay City, Michigan. After graduation from Central High School, he moved to Flint, MI to begin his retail career as a Discount Tire manager. Years later he moved to Colorado and worked for Big O in Monument. He was well loved by his customers and prided himself on being trustworthy and truly looking out for the customer’s best interests. He was very generous and helped whenever he heard of a need. Ron loved the Beach Boys music, passionately watched his Red Wings hockey games, and enjoyed weekly poker games with his neighbors. He enjoyed hiking and driving to see the beautiful Colorado scenery. Family was extremely important to Ron, and he cared deeply about his children and grandchildren, as well as his stepchildren and step grandkids. Ron is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Beth, and his father, Eugene. He is survived by his children, Timothy (Yessenia), Benjamin (Chrystal), Andy (Marty), and Sara (Kyle) Anderson, and stepchildren, Jason, Carol, Jill, and Chris. He is also survived by his mother Janet, siblings Rick (Anne), and Randy (Dina), and Nancy Sutton, and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
