After taking an early retirement offer in 2001 he went to work for Wal-Mart working in inventory control. In 2006 he and Marianne decided that they wanted to live near their grandchildren in the Colorado Springs area, and bought a home in Falcon CO a few miles east of Colorado Springs. When his health began to fail they moved again into the city of Colorado Springs.
Ronald was a man of God and believed that God sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the penalty for sin by His death on the cross, His resurrection, and through belief in Him he is saved and will have eternal life in Heaven with Him. He loved his family, and was faithful to his wife. He dedicated his life to God, family, and country. He taught his children honor and compassion. He was loved and respected by his family and will be greatly missed by the family and many friends. He was under Hospice Care for 2 years and was loved by those who cared for him. Now he is with the Lord in his eternal home, where he no longer has his sickness, or pain, and no more sorrow or tears. Praise the Lord!
