Rosemary S. Walkowski, age 85, left this world, for one better, on January 6, 2021. She was born to Mary and John Siembak, (deceased) of Johnstown, PA on August 23, 1935. She married Raymond J. Walkowski (deceased) on Au-gust 13,1955 and became a military wife of 23 years with United States Air Force. They moved frequently through out the states, all 3 children were born in different states. They retired to Colorado Springs in 1997, and enjoyed RV-ing with her husband of 63 years. Family and friends were the most important aspect of her life, along with her spiritual walk with the Lord. She absolutely adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her NaNa days. Rain or shine she never missed watching grandchildren sports, choir programs, plays, etc,. Family gatherings were one of her greatest joys.
Rosemary was an animal lover, especially dogs. Her many dogs were treated with lots of love. Since faith was an important part of her life, her motto was “With God we are everything, without him we are nothing.” She had many hobbies over her lifetime, but her favorites were bowling and golf.
Survived by her daughter Sandra (Ben), sons Ray (Lynn) and Bruce (Toni). Grandchildren, Jacob (Tricia), Jill (Doug), Scott (Jenn), Jordan, Tyler, Andrew and Jenny (Thomas). Great grandchildren, Lydia, Eliana, Annabelle, Abby, Denver, Rosalee and Mikaya. Also her sister Francis DeFrank of PA.
A private funeral mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Parrish, where Rosemary will be interred by her husband’s side at Mount St. Francis Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a charitable contribution to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org or Life Network, www.elifenetwork.com.
