She was a long time resident of Security, Colorado for 50 years. Ruby was born in Alma, Kansas, August 2, 1926. She was married on January 19, 1946 in Kansas to Melvin O. Herbic who preceded her in death.
Ruby retired from Hewlett Packard in 1990. She was a resident at The Residence at Skyway Park where she loved playing bingo and attending exercise class. She enjoyed and adored her caretakers.
Ruby is survived by her son Melvin James Herbic (wife Candace Herbic) of Denver, Colorado, her daughter Patricia I. Maska (husband Robert Maska) of Security, Colorado and her daughter Cindi M. Rodriguez (husband Andrew Rodriguez) of Denver, Colorado and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother and sister of Kansas.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 11:00 am at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
