Ruth was born in Guffy, Colorado to Bert and Nora Weaver on January 14, 1929. She went to school in Divide and then Woodland Park. She graduated from Woodland Park High School. She married Richard Leedom in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Ruth enjoyed working and had several jobs throughout her life. Derns Candy Kitchen, Parmley's Grocery Store, Trout Haven, Woodland Park High School, and Walmart.
Ruth loved music. She could not read notes, but she could play anything she heard by ear.
Ruth is preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband Richard, all of her brothers and her sister, her grandsons Douglas Fisk and Adrian Souza, and several nieces and nephews.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Susan Fisk, her son-in-law Ronald Fisk, and her daughter Christine Turick and son-in-law George Turick, and her grandsons Patrick Fisk and Dustin Turick.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Home.
