Sara Brenner Pratti

April 21, 1937-April 7, 2023

Sara (Brenner) Kaye Pratti of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on April 7, 2023. She was born to the late Carl and Margaret Brenner on April 21, 1937, in Louisville, KY. She was an amazing mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Pratti and her sister Margaret “Peggy” Savosik. Sara had an eye for fashion and held many jobs in the fashion world. She was a women’s clothing buyer for The Outdoorsman in Lake Forest, Il, spent some time working for designers Maria Rodriguez and Eleanor Brenner. Also, worked for several stores in the Chicago area, The London Corner, Gallagher’s, and The Ralph Lauren Store. She moved to Colorado in 1994 to be closer to family and opened a showroom at The Denver Merchandise Mart specializing in women’s clothing. Sara was very proud of her membership in The Service Club of Chicago, DAR, and PEO. She loved people, fashion, travel, and her family. She is survived by Erik, Allison Johnson (Scott), Graham, three grandchildren, Jensen, Kelsey (Chris) and Kayla (Trevor) and her great grandson Robert “Robbie”. Everyone was a friend to Sara. She will be greatly missed. Celebration of Life will be held on June 17 at 11:00 am at Grace Episcopal Church 601 N. Tejon, Colorado Springs, CO. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
