Avis de décès de Scott L. Beckmann
AUX SOINS DE

Memorial Gardens Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery

Scott L. Beckmann, 27, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on November 28, 2025.

Scott was born on March 31, 1998, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Magan Butner and Jim Beckmann. He grew up in Colorado Springs, spending a short time in Clarksville, Tennessee. He is survived by his brother, Samuel, and his half-brother, Colton. Scott loved being outdoors, especially skateboarding with family and friends. Known for his playful spirit, he delighted in making others laugh and ensuring everyone around him wore a smile.

He graduated from Palmer High School and went on to earn a certificate in Auto Collision from Pikes Peak State College. Scott had a lifelong passion for cars, whether working on them or detailing them.

In 2017, Scott met Paula, and in June 2021 they were married. Together they enjoyed camping, racing, and fishing. Their greatest joy was their son, Apollo, born on December 21, 2021. As a family, they loved taking rides and trips together. Scott cherished every moment with Apollo—whether at the park, reading, or drawing—and devoted himself to giving his son all of his time and love.

Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Susan Butner, and his great-grandparents, Tom and Doris Butner and Jack and Pearl Roten.

He is survived by his parents, Magan Flatt and Jim Beckmann; his stepfather, Scott Flatt; his brothers, Samuel and Colton; and his beloved son, Apollo.

A memorial service will be held at the end of March 2026, with details to be shared at a later date.

Scott touched the hearts of everyone he met with his humor, kindness, and joy. He will be laid to rest in the home of his mother, beside his grandparents’ ashes. His memory will live on in the smiles he inspired and the love he gave so freely.
