Shirley May Parlow

Shirley moved with her family to Colorado Springs in 1946. She attended Colorado Springs High School. She left school early to marry the love of her life Donald L. Parlow in 1953. They were married March 7, 1953. They celebrated just shy of 65 years of marriage.

Shirley was mother to three daughters: Janet Parlow, Catherine (husband James) Wilson , and Donna Parlow. She was longtime caregiver to her mother. She also was a homemaker.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Pearl F. and Kathryn E. Pearcy, her brother Robert L. Pearcy, and eldest daughter Janet L. Parlow.

Shirley is survived by her husband Donald L. Parlow, daughters Catherine A. Wilson and Donna Parlow. She has five grandchildren and six great grandchildren as well as a nephew and nieces, and cousins.
