Sonia Marie Seremet

Sonia Marie Skiba Seremet passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 5, 2013 in a tragic car accident. She was born on March 6, 1976 and raised in Titusville, PA. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

Sonia was a first grade teacher at Gold Camp Elementary from 2002-2005 as well as at Prairie Hills Elementary from 2005-2013.

Sonia married the love of her life, Eric Seremet in August 2008. She was extremely supportive of Eric’s job as the head lacrosse coach at the USAFA and a very important member of the USAFA lacrosse family.

Sonia’s passion and incredible love for her two children, Emelia (4) and Anabel (2) was amazing and inspiring. She was the best mommy ever.

Sonia is survived by her husband Eric; her daughters Emelia and Anabel; parents Max and Delores Skiba; sister and brother in law Gretchen and William Howard; brother Drew Skiba; sister-in-law and nieces Tonya, Reese and Paige Skiba.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80918.
