Thomas A Gasser

November 2, 1933 - July 18, 2012

Tom, 78, a 34 year resident of Colorado Springs, passed away peacefully on July 18 at the home he and his wife Joan built. He was in the loving care of his wife and children as he faced death with courage, acceptance, and peace. He passed away early on Wednesday morning, surrounded by his family.

Devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, he leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Joan Gasser; six children: Mike (Juvi) Gasser, Paul (Kim) Gasser, Ray (Heather) Gasser, Teresa (Rich) Fletcher, Linda (Brett) Moore, and Laura (Ben) Hoelting; ten grandchildren: Matthew, Cailyn, William, Rachel, McKenzie, Lauren, Brooklyn, Amanda, Zach, and Morgan.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 22 from 2:00 - 4:00 followed by a rosary at 4:00; Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. The funeral mass to celebrate Tom's life will be held on Monday, July 23 at 10:00 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church; 2318 N. Cascade Ave. A private burial will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.

In lieu of flowers, Tom requested donations be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church or St. Mary's High School.
