William Lynn Perry

William Lynn Perry passed away on November 18, 2025, at the age of 93, surrounded by family. He was born on February 10, 1932 in Texarkana, Kansas to Ruth Downing and William Harry Perry, and moved to Colorado Springs as a senior in high school. He graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1950 and married his sweetheart, Bev.

Bill graduated from CU Business School in Boulder, then entered into banking in Colorado Springs. He retired from banking as President of East Bank. He then started a second career in commercial real estate with Weichert Associates.

Bill was an avid skier and fly fisherman. He also enjoyed camping and traveling.

Bill and Bev adopted three children and raised them together until Bev’s passing in 2001. Bill then remarried Amilu Stewart, MD in 2007.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jim. He is survived by his children, Suellen, Karyn, and David; his stepchildren, Joe, Bill, Beth, and Anne; 12 grandchildren and step-grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren & step-grandchildren; and his wife, Amilu Stewart, MD.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Bill’s name to First Lutheran Church, 1515 N Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO.

Services will be held on December 16, 2025 at 11am at First Lutheran Church, with a lunch at the church to follow.
