

With deep love and fond remembrance, we announce the passing of Antonio M. Ruiz, who was born on June 7, 1932, in Copales, Huanímaro, Guanajuato, and whose life was marked by quiet strength, deep devotion to family, and a love for the simple joys of life.
Antonio cherished his family above all else. He found happiness in the small, everyday moments—tending his garden, spending time with his beloved dogs, and sharing donuts with his grandchildren whenever they stayed the night. His warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He is lovingly remembered and survived by his children: Maria Guadalupe, Sylvia Cartagena, Sandra Hernandez, Elizabeth Cortez, and Veronica Ruiz.
His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Carlos Calvillo, Cecilia Garcia, Gerardo Ruiz, Anna Cartagena, Victor Ruiz, Nicholas Hernandez, Jocelyn Calva, Christopher Calva, and Erick Calva.
He is also remembered with love by his great-grandchildren: Allison Calvillo, Noah Diaz, Ash Goei Ruiz, Axel Garcia, Gerard Ruiz, and Maximilion Goei Ruiz.
Antonio’s life was a testament to kindness, dedication, and love. His memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know him.
A visitation for Antonio will be held Monday, May 12, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at All Souls Chapel, 3510 E. Washington Street, Colton, California. A committal service will occur Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 3510 E. Washington Street, Colton, California 92324.
