The Class of 1965

Audrey and I met at Ford Credit in Pasadena. I absolutely enjoyed our friendship. She had a great listening ear and sweet spirit. We enjoyed many Chinese food lunches together and she would always talk about how much she loved her family, may you rest in peace beautiful friend so long  for now until we meet again.

Mrs. Broome was a beautiful and always classy lady. I believe her greatest treasure in life was her family. She was an amazing mom and Nan, and it always showed in the way she loved and cared for them. She is loved immensely and will be greatly missed! Tiffany and Lisa, you are in my continuous thoughts and prayers. I love you both, God bless you!🤗

Audrey was my dear cousin.  She loved family and never lost sight of her humble beginnings.  She was a communicator and made it her mission to keep in touch by phone or by text or an occasional visit to the old homestead. I always appreciated her news and stories about
family and growing up on the farm.  She talked lovingly about her kids and her grandkids. Audrey showed kindness, humility and grace in everything she said or was engaged in.  I will miss her greatly. May she rest in Heavenly Peace.  Our heartfelt condolences to Tiffany and
Lisa and all of her family.

You always held us to the tip top standard and always cheered us on to be the absolute best in all we set out to achieve. Audrey Dolores Hill Broome. That’s how Lisa and I referred to you growing up. I loved going to your house - it was so warm and welcoming. You were always there to take care of us and share a laugh. Such a caring mother. My mom would run into you at Ross or TJ Maxx or Marshall’s and she always loved your chats about us kids. How we were doing. My mom shared the same love and adoration for her daughter as you did yours. Tiffany and Lisa - sending you love and I know that your mom is always looking on and will take care of you and your families.

I met you when I was 14yrs old. Thru the years you included me in your family holidays, get togethers or just hanging out at your house. Your Gumbo for Christmas is still by far the best, when I have tried others I just smile & say thank you- in my head I say mmm mmm this is NOTHING like Mrs. Broome’s Gumbo! When I would come over you& I would chat while waiting for Tiff. I loved making you laugh so at some point I would start to smile, walk over to one of your “new decors” in your house (shopping was 1 of your loves) you would start to laugh, I’d imitate you saying  “I bought this item from——-& I bought this” you would say laughing “oh really! Is that what I say Kari” I got a kick out of it each time it never got old doing. I will miss that so much! You will always be the woman with many hats & you wore each one SO VERY WELL! From Mother,Sister,Wife, Co-Worker, Shopper ETC., you name the title you’ve done it & with such beauty n grace NO ONE will ever be able to copy your footprints. I miss us laughing already! I love you so much! Thank you for accepting me always!

Audrey was my best friend and always my Sister -in-Law. We raised our kids together when they were young up until teen-age years. We shared lots of laughter and sorrow together. I will always cherish our memories  and Love.

I got the pleasure to work with Audrey at Wells Fargo.  As someone who got to train and coach Audrey, she had the best personality and would always having us smiling/laughing with her sense of humor.  She came in everyday to work rain or shine and had the hardest work ethic.  We will miss her dearly and hope that you find comfort knowing how much Audrey was loved not only by her friends and family but also her coworkers. I met Audrey 4 years ago but it felt like we had known each other forever  i really loved our talks and so many laughs for 3 years in the office together we had lunch we would share our favorite foods and talk about our families Audrey loved her children and grandchildren very much im going to miss but i know she is resting now with the lord rest easy my friend
