Born on March 2, 1950, in Nampa, Idaho, to Betty Jane (Hays) and Louis Delbert Woll, Marlene lived a life deeply rooted in family and service. After graduating from high school, she pursued a career in cosmetology, working in the field for over 40 years. Her clients often became dear friends, and she cherished the opportunity to help others feel beautiful inside and out.
A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Marlene served faithfully in many callings throughout her life. She especially loved working with young children, who were naturally drawn to her gentle spirit and warmth.
On September 18, 1971, Marlene married the love of her life, Michael Price Allen, in the Los Angeles Temple. Together they raised two sons, Rory and Jaime, and built their home in San Bernardino, California.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Betty Woll, and her beloved husband, Michael. She later found companionship with Stanley Lewis of Mount Vernon, Washington, who survives her.
She is also survived by her sons Rory Allen (Jayme) and Jaime Allen (Rachel); her siblings Ray Woll (Lorraine), Jerry Woll (Wanda), and Anita Thornock (Mike). Marlene was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved cat, Tigger.
At Marlene’s request, a private graveside service will be held for the family. She will be laid to rest at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, California.
