Betty Jane "Bj" Del George

Betty Jane "BJ" Del George, born February 16, 1928 in Williamsburg, PA, died February 4, 2017 at the age of 88 years old. She was born to parents, Norris A. Kagarise of Salem New Enterprise, PA and Thessa Edgell Norris Kagarise of Keyser, VA.

Betty worked as a homemaker, wife and mother most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband Sarro Del George, son Jon P. Westover sister, Deanna Resheske, William Kagarise and Jack Kagarise, also granddaughter Ashley Elizabeth Resheske. Survived by daughter, Sandi (Jim) Resheske of Colton, step-son Glenn Del George of Las Vegas, brother Glenn "Fritz" (Betty) Kagarise of Pennsylvania, 5 granddaughters; Jamie Resheske of Phoenix, AZ, Kelly Resheske of Colton, CA, Angie (Scott) Blair of Italy, Rachel (Drew) Asimakopolis of Washington, Deborah (Greg) Holder of Oregon, 3 grandsons Stevan Del George of California, John Resheske of Florida and Mike (Pam) Resheske of Florida , 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Born in PA, Betty migrated west to California with a large portion of her family following her.

She spent her time living and traveling between her two homes in San Bernardino/Colton and in Phoenix, Arizona.

Betty was a devoted mother and loved her family. She was kind and caring and had a way to make you always feel welcome and light up a room when she walked in. She loved to sing (especially with her sister). Betty, known as "BJ" by close friends and family, was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017, 10 am, at Montecito Valley View Chapel, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, California. Burial will follow at Montecito Memorial Park.
