Bruno was born February 28th, 1950 in Bermejillo, Durango, Mexico to Elaria Gomez and named after his father Bruno Perez. He was born to a family with many brothers and sisters that later moved and resided in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. At the age of 9 years he met the love of his life for the first time. Their love story started at a young age as Bruno and Maria Virginia were local neighbors and would often see each other at the local market, a beloved story that we would cherish always. Virginia’s parents had a stand in the local market and Bruno’s parents where they would buy from them. Bruno and Virginia met as children and grew up with love that was and still everlasting. Then on May 31st, 1974 they were both recognized in marriage by the courts but Bruno worked and saved some money for a surprise for his lovely wife. On January 10, 1975 they had a second wedding that was blessed under god. With the money that Bruno worked so hard for was for his wife’s wedding dress. Their love for life was only going to grow stronger when they had the arrival of their first child Laura, to Bruno it was his little angel and since birth he would call her Preciosa. Everywhere he went Laura fallowed she was definitely daddy’s little girl but with the wisdom she got from her father she never gave up on life. Laura was an only child for 3 years then a brother came to the world. Bruno’s first son and gave him his name Bruno Jr. Perez, he was his pride and joy raised him to be strong but very respectful to his family. Then 3 children fallowed, David his Pajarito always chatting away but proud of his knowledge, Cesar his youngest son but proud of work ethic because it reminded him of himself, and Susana the youngest of his children she grew learning the love of life and that she could overcome every obstacle in her way because of him. His love for his children was tough but unconditional. For his grandchildren Monica, Peter, Abraham, Johnathan, Alexis, and Emily will remember their Papa as their protector because every time they would get in trouble it was “Papa to the rescue” and would always gave them what they wanted. He was a man with a lot of wisdom and knowledge. Bruno worked so hard for what he loved, and it was a trait that we can all admire and learn from. He laid his hands to rest on October 26th, 2011 where he will be greatly missed but never forgotten for his loved ones will always have him in their hearts and in their spirits.
