Carolyn was born in San Bernardino, CA. After her mother's passing, Carolyn, at the age of 10, was raised by her brother Gene and sister-in-law Laura. Carolyn graduated from San Bernardino High School. After graduating, she moved to San Francisco to pursue a career in finance. In 1964, she returned to the San Bernardino area, where she met and married the love of her life, Joe. They eventually made Redlands their home, where they raised their family and retired. After retirement, they moved to Yucaipa, where they became property managers for more than 20 years. Carolyn enjoyed life with her husband, doing many activities together, such as bowling, golfing, going to their favorite restaurants for drinks and dancing, visiting casinos, and taking family trips to the Colorado River. They were married for 57 years until Joe's passing. After Joe's death, Carolyn moved to Arizona to be with her daughter. After moving to Arizona with her daughter, she loved going to the casinos for some gambling, enjoyed live music from all the tribute bands, and loved the quiet times sitting by the river.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her welcoming spirit, love for animals, and her favorite waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. And, of course, her bling and everything PINK. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Kaze Johnson; son, Shannon Kaze; three grandsons, Joseph Owen (Kerry), Jeffrey Owen (Susan), and Brian Kaze; her granddaughter, Morgan Kaze; six great-grandchildren; her brother, Don; and her sister, LuLu Bell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; sons, Eric and Larry Kaze; parents; sister, Helen; and her brother, Gene.
A graveside service is to be held on Feb. 27, 2025 at 11:30 am at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324.
We invite you to show your PINK in honor of Carolyn.
