Chealsey Jane O’Bryan, Was born November 02, 2008. Her battle with cancer began in February of 2014 when she was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Stage 4 at the age of 5. Over the course of 7 years our little fighter, our warrior had gone through many Chemo treatments, multiple Radiations including MIBG, bone marrow transplant, 1000 + bone marrow biopsy’s, knee surgery, tumor surgeries, traveling to San Francisco, LA, and San Diego for three clinical trials, multiple relapses and one 2 year long remission. In November of 2020, they told Chealsey our beautiful butterfly that there were no longer any options to fight. Since then she tried to do everything she could to live freely. Covid prevented a lot of that. Chealsey made the best of it, completing most of her bucket list leaving only two left to check off.
Chealsey is a warrior. During her fight she was so brave and strong even up to her last days. She is extremely independent, sassy, smart, loving, and an extraordinary little diva and free spirit. She loved to do make-up and was extremely talented. She loved fashion, singing, dancing, and art. She loved her ribs, takis, Mac n cheese and Tias homemade spaghetti. The beach was her favorite place.
She loved to go to the mall, play games. She hated to loose.
Chealsey is survived by her Mommy Stephanie O’Bryan, her Sister Nichole Melendez, Grandma Margaret Herrera, Grandma Vicki, Tias, Melissa Dunsmore, Julia Hernandez, Jessica Ebheart, Feather O’Bryan, April O’Bryan. 17 cousin’s and 1 second cousin. Additional Tias, Uncles and cousins from her extended family.
Chealsey was loved by many and made a long lasting footprint with all that she has met over the years.
