Beloved son, brother, and friend: Stephen Michael Grove passed away April 15, 2017. Stephen’s family and friends mourn his loss deeply, but also celebrate his legacy of kindness, which will remain with them always. A native of Angwin, Stephen is best remembered by his love of the forest, brilliant laugh, quiet strength, skill with a bow drill, tactical prowess, strong work ethic, and gentle demeanor. While Stephen has left his home on earth, his voice can still be heard amongst the wind in the tall trees, his laugh bubbling in the hum of a river, his smile rippling in the dappled sunlight upon the leaves, and his spirit living on through each of his friends who spent many joyful hours in the pleasure of his company. Stephen’s family and friends invite you to join them in honoring his great legacy of learning and conservation by making a charitable contribution to the California Wildlife Center, http:/cawildlife.org/ in his name.
