Cynthia Jo Toepfer

Cynthia Jo Toepfer passed away on January 17th, 2020 surrounded by family and loved ones at Riverside Community Hospital. She was born on July 30th, 1952 to Frank and Jo Ann Andreini, in Des Moines, Iowa. Cindy began her life with her husband Richard in 1971, after meeting on New Year’s Eve. Over their 42 years of marriage, Cindy and Rich raised three boys; William(Bill), Dylan and Brandon. Cindy devoted her life to her family and always welcomed everyone into her home and heart. She was truly a mother to all those that she met. Cindy will be remembered for her sense of humor, love of travel, magnetic personality and her ability to tell it like it is. Cindy loved flamingos, her dogs and spending time with her boys.

Cindy left a mark on the lives of all of her loved ones and she will be deeply missed.

Cindy was preceded in death by her sister Beth Andreini, mother Jo Ann Andreini, father Frank Andreini, and husband Richard Toepfer.

Cindy is survived by her sons Bill Toepfer, Dylan Toepfer and Brandon Toepfer, siblings Steve Andreini, Rick Andreini and Lisa Sommers, grandchildren Lauren Barajas, Heather Anderson and Trey Toepfer, and great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Brooke, Cole, Dillon, Dean, and Mia.

A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at the family home on February 22nd, 2020.
