Donald Graham Beasley Sr.

Donald accepted Christ at an early age was baptized at United Methodist Church in Mesa, Arizona.

Donald grew up in Mesa, Arizona attending Mesa, Arizona. While in High school called Don by his coach.

Don played baseball he was an All-state outfielder for Jackrabbits, 1950 and 1951. Don also played football he was All-state running back, 1950 scored 29 career touch downs, including 11 as a sophomore. His Senior year Don Scored 17 touchdowns for 9-0-1 state championship team. That year Don had three touchdown games, two of them against the powerful California Foes. Don received full 4 years scholarship to attend University of Arizona. Don was also member University of Arizona Football Teams 1952-1953 and 1956. Don received his Bachelors Education. Don also played Military Service Football 1954-1955 and with Phoenix Semi-Professional Team 1957 Mesa City sports Hall of Fame Don Beasley Mesa High School 1951 Inducted November 1994 Donald in 1975 received his teaching credential he was coaching football and baseball. He received several plaques for coaching baseball and football.

On March 1, 1953 Donald Beasley Sr. married Rodie Jones. From this union three beautiful children were born. Years later they divorced.

On December 31, 1968 Donald Beasley Sr. married Linnie Norris. Don moved back to California to take care of his sister until she died. Linnie also got sick and died April 17, 2020. Don visit both graves, puts flowers on their graves. Don missed his wife dearly. Donald retired from US postal service and Los Angeles Unified School District.

Donald leaves to cherish his memories two daughters Donna and Henry Gilbert of Gardena, California. Dana and Kirk Brady of Grand Terrace, California. Also, one son Donald Beasley Jr. wife April Beasley of Las Vegas, Nevada. Sister Minnie Jackson and brother in law. 8 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren and host of relatives and friends. He was Proceeded him in death by his wife Linnie Beasley, Parents Ella Robinson, and Essey Beasley Hill Jr., niece Vicky Jackson.
