Ellen Elizabeth Cobrae was born to the late Jack and Mary Zevelic in El Segundo, California on August 11, 1918 and died at her home in Redlands, California on October 21, 2014 at the age of 96. She is survived by her two sons Gary and Jim, her 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She graduated from El Segundo high school and went on to marry the love of her life; Rudy Cobrae. She and Rudy celebrated over 50 years together until he died on January 4, 1992. Ellen was a loving wife, incredible mother and wonderful homemaker. Ellen lived and died loving her family, her Lord, and serving in her church, The Rock, as a greeter. She was one of those rare souls who touch everyone they meet, find joy in the smallest things and encourage you to be the best you can be. She will be deeply missed by her family, her friends and her church.

Her memorial service will be held at The Rock Church and World Outreach Center, 2345 South Waterman Avenue, San Bernardino, at 11:00 AM on October 27th. There will also be a viewing at the Valley Chapel at Montecito Cemetery on Monday, October 27th from 9:00 – 10:45 AM.
