Ellen G Robinson

Ellen Gould Robinson, of Loma Linda, California, passed away on January 30, 2011 at Reche Canyon Rehabilitation Facility in Colton, California. She died peacefully. Ellen was born in Providencia, Columbia S.A. to Teodocia and Donaldo Robinson. She was second of seven children, and the only daughter. She attended her primary education in Providencia and Panama, and graduated from college in Costa Rica, Colegio Vocacional de America Central, a Seventh-Day Adventist institution. Her childhood was interrupted by the tragic death of her father and the subsequent move to Panama from Providencia, Columbia. After this she had the additional responsibility of keeping the family together, she was a very nurturing and compassionate person. She never married. While in the United States she worked as a secretary for the Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles for 10 years. She worked for Seventh-Day Adventist institutions as well. She relocated from Glendale, CA, to her duplex in Loma Linda, CA, in 1987. She is survived by three of her siblings John (Carmen), Donaldo (Alicia), and David (Gloria). Her brothers, Valencio (Delia), Willie and Chester (Edenis) are deceased. She also has a very large extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins. Ellen was a very devout Seventh-Day-Adventist. We will truly miss our sister, aunt, cousin and friend. May God Almighty accept her under His Divine Wings. Services were held on Friday, February 11, 2011, viewing 1-2 p.m.and service at 2 p.m. Burial followed at Montecito Memorial Park. Arrangements under the direction of Montecito Memorial Park & Mortuary, Colton, California.
