Ellie C. Medel went home to our Father in Heaven on Feb. 4, 2011. He was born in Michoacan, Mexico May 29, 1940. A resident of Moreno Valley, Ellie was married to Linda and shared their lives together for over 47 years. Ellie enjoyed family, friends, his dogs, golf and traveling. Ellie was preceded in death by his daughter, Diana Medel. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; son, Eric Medel; daughters, Xochilt Lacy and Jackie Medel; grandchildren, Josh Lacy, Landon Lacy and Kory Lacy and great grandson, Zacheriah Lacy. Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011 5-8pm at Montecito Mortuary Cypress Chapel at 24145 Barton Rd, Loma Linda. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011 at 10:00am at All Souls Mausoleum at 3510 E. Washington St, Colton, CA with interment to follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
