

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Estella Ochoa Garcia, who passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on March 21, 1941, Estella Was known for her love of family, kind heart, generosity and love of travel. She also enjoyed gardening, music, going to the casino's, playing Bunco and had a gift for creating various arts and crafts. She had a beautiful smile and gift for conversation and when extended an invitation, always accepted. Despite battling illness, Estella faced life with courage and resilience demonstrating her strength and unwavering optimism to all who knew her.
Estella (Stella) grew up in Colton, California and graduated from Colton High School. Before retiring, Estella was employed at The Harris Company in San Bernardino as a Cosmetic Buyer for 30 years and traveled to New York frequently on business.
Estella is preceded in death by her husband Jesse (Lovie) Garcia, her parents, Raul and Irene Ochoa, brother, Alfred Ochoa and sister, Rosemarie (Rosie) Ochoa Gonzalez. She is survived by siblings Irene Valdivia (Ray), Virginia Weyant and Frances Ochoa-Smith (Bill). She leaves behind 13 nieces and nephews and 19 great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on March 19, 2025, at 9am at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, Valley View Chapel, next to the office. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the City of Hope.
