Evelyn dedicated her career to the San Bernardino School District, where she made a significant impact through her work.

Evelyn was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard Doucette, and her daughter, Diana Sherfey. She is survived by her two grandchildren, Michelle Moore and Marc Belliveau, as well as her four great-grandchildren, Grant, Houston, Walker, and Haus.
