With deep sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Felipe Anguiano Barajas, who left us unexpectedly on July 18, 2025, at the age of 58. While working in Moreno Valley, he paused for his afternoon rest in the shade—and in that quiet moment, he peacefully departed.
For those who knew Felipe, it is without a doubt he devoted his time and life to his family and welcoming all friends into his home and heart. Born in Mexico, came to the United States with love in his heart and a quiet hope to give his family a better life and future. He is survived by his beloved Wife of nearly 40 years, Renee Acosta and this three children Felipe J. Barajas Jr, Nancy J. Govea, and Leonard R. Chavez. Five grandchildren: Karalynn B., Felipe B., Ezra B., Valerie G., and Liam B.
Felipe Barajas has one living parent: Jose Barajas Guerrero and has since predeceased his dear mother Juana Anguiano Orozco and his sister Cecelia Barajas.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Reyes B., Valentina B., Carmen B., Gabriel B., Jose B., Maria B.
Felipe Barajas, also blessed with nieces and nephews both here in the US and Mexico: Yaneth B., Luz Elena B., Reyes B., Daniel B., Alex B., Juan E. B., Jose Luis B., Nancy B., Arcadia G. B., Domitila C. B., Damian C. B., Lupe C. B., Jose Luis E. B., Jorge E. B., Mary B and along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Please find comfort in a simple phrase Felipe often shared—“Es okay,” he would say with a gentle sigh. Just two words, but they carried so much weight. It was his way of quieting the chaos, of reminding us that everything would be alright—that we were strong enough, loved enough, and safe in his presence.
We will miss you deeply, Dad. We love you with all our hearts. Until we see you again.
