Today is 4th year without you! You are missed and loved!  It's been 1460 days since you been gone! Love you forevermore!

I miss you my little brother, think of you often.  Remember how we would go to gma Carmen's house and visit.  You would always chase after Tamba gma's dog till one day he snapped at you.  We played so much in dirt and had fun getting dirty till it came time to bathe😄 I love 💕 you Mijo.

My life will never be the same without you brother.  Wish heaven had a phone.  I love you, miss you but I'm glad you are at peace now and no longer suffering.  Give my grandma Linda a kiss and hug for me, tell Dad I miss him and pick some flowers for Vivian and tell her she has the most handsome grandson ever, his name is Cameron Maurice.  Mom misses you very much sends her love.   I think of you every day, brings a heartache that will never go away.

My most sincere condolences go out to his wife, daughter, sons, grandkids and his family. Gilbert was a great man, he loved his family dearly and always wanted the best for them. He will be dearly missed. Rest in paradise Gilbert. 🙏🏼 

Despite being blind and disabled my father taught me how to be independent and navigate this world without limits and for that I love him and am deeply sadden to lose the greatest father in the whole wide world.  My favorite memory of my father was that he was always taking us to Six flags Magic Mountain. I remember my first roller coaster ride, lol. I was scared, crying, and thought I was having a heart attack. As my father comforted me he told me that life was like a roller coaster. Full of ups and downs. And for me a lot of falls and bumping into things but he said that he would always be there to help me get back up. He was my rock, my hero and my eyes. As I got older our journeys took us to places that a lot of people similar to myself would never get to experience. Because of him I rode ATVs, roller coasters, danced the night away, drank to the sun came up, went to countless casinos/bars/lounges, learned how to swim, learned a bit of Braille, learned how to work hard and play later and a whole lot more but most importantly taught me to enjoy life despite my disability. He showed me that a fathers love is truly unconditional. 

Another one of my favorite memories of my father and what I loved about him is when he would dress up real nice whenever we would go out. I really looked up to him. He was an amazing father. He taught me how to be a man, independent and hustler. Furthermore a happy, loving and caring individual. Through it all, My father kept his promise to helping me get back up when life or a pole would knock me down/out. He never let me give up and he never gave up on me. He taught me how to fight and survive in a world full of wolves, struggles and chaos. God chose him to be my shepherd/mentor/father.  He truly earned his wings and now it's time for him to head home. I will miss you and I will cry but I will never forget you and will always love you with all my heart and soul. God bless you father~ My Angel 😇

To the  Galindo family, you will always have my love and appreciation no matter the amount of time that go's by between us.  For Gilbert I have to many fond memories to list.  He included his daughters friend in his family . Taking me on vacations giving me a chance to do things I would never have got to do.  Iv never had funnier and happier times then the times I spent at his home .  For a girl with no dad of her own, the interaction filled my heart. Thank you Gilbert  for always encouraging mine and Tina's shenanigans. Thanks for  keeping me on my A game with the humor. You Irma , Tina, Anthoney, Gilbert Jr , and Gabriel will always be in my heart. 

I always looked forward to your holloween and New Years parties knowing how much fun we would have. This is how we came to know Irmas family and your friends too. 
Rudy and Micah were talking about helping when you and Irma had your flowers and balloons to decorate for events. But the funniest memory of you and I for your little brother was the football game on Easter Sunday at Schebarum Park. You did not want me (any female) getting in on the football game. So you made a point to tackle me, hard. I got up laughing and said "let's do this" you shook your head and started laughing and a frienship began. What I am saying is we have great life long memories to cherish. I would say Rest, but I know you, enjoy the hustle. 💕

Thank you for everything you gave me, even when I don't deserve it. You were a great man and the best grandfather a grandson could ask for. You know it's funny, I was going through some stuff on my nightstand and I heard something was about to fall. I saw it was an old picture frame from 2005 and before it fell, I caught it right on time. I saw this picture and thought maybe it was a sign that you'll be watching over us with being X himself or herself. May they watch over you on the other side and watch us as we will try our best to keep moving forward and someday in the near future coming ahead, we will all be together once again in the end.

I have many memories with Gilbert, Irma and family. My deepest prayers to his wife and family🙏🏽  I remember we were Always happy to see each other’s family.  We always had a good time:) and I know he is in a much better place now and he can breathe again on his own, but he will always be remembered, loved and missed by many. Rest In Peace Brother Gilbert. I love you 🙏🏽😘❤️🙏🏽

I will always cherish the childhood memories with you uncle Gilbert the laughs the good times and your enormous sense of humor  , your memory will always live within us . I’ve learned that family N love is A bond that death can not part💔 to my fam God is our refuge and our strength. 

Rest In Peace brother. You were a big part of our family and a great big brother to us. We always had fun and laughed allot when we were together. Thank you for loving my sister with all your heart. Memories of Uncle Gil. We were young kids and had our vocabulary revolving around the words he said. Chain link fences and grills. Growing up very close to everybody and laughing hard when somebody hecho un petho! Always having family taking care of family and never letting charity go undone.

To a friend i meet so many years ago theres no one that was as funny as you you were a good person and i always admire you and irma the couple that never separated always togther you will be missed gib may you rest in heaven and theres no more pain amen 👏👏👏👏👏❤

I remember you always played with sticks as guns and we called you Elmer Fudd.....lol, then the day dad brought you your first BB rifle.  We'd set up cans and see who was the best shot.  You were 9yrs old.

I will always cherish memories I have, like that time we took dad's 56 Chevy convertible for a ride, I backed it out of the drive way all the way into the ditch across the street.   We ran back, and boy did we get a dance with dad and the Avocado tree.  Good ol' times.  Then a time you crawled into the sidewalk sewer holding on to the pipe across the cement.  City came and finally got you out!  I will cherish all these memories...……………..forever in my heart,  love you Hey.

Cousin gibby, although I am much younger and grew up with Michelle and Babaloo you were always around being funny, you loved family and didn't hesitate to let me know this,  hanging out at my parents anniversary with your loving wife by your side,  we laughed so much and you said im your favorite cousin okay you didn't actually say it say it but I know I am ;)  I'll treasure our family visits in Valinda when family would actually visit and hang out with each other... good old days memories forever in my heart🙏💙💔✊🏼

It's a beautiful feeling to know so many souls that are in Heaven yet we can still feel them close to us, watching us and filling out hearts with joy and peace....Thank you brother for all the times you and your family helped me and mine.I know you are young and healthy now and I am happy for you...also thank you to our sister Irma and their children for taking care of Gib and being there for him...May God bless and comfort you all.

There was a time we had a baby cow in our back yard  that's how dad got us started ranching lol, then we had horses in Pico Rivera where we spent most of our time growing up.  We all had something to do.  Building a raft to float in the river, pretending to be on fantastic voyages.  Going with our tio's and tia's to Marano Beach, those were the days.

I remember you and cousin's running after the Helms bakery wagon and hanging on the back when they pulled away for a ride to the corner...……

I want to thank Irma for all the love and care she gave my brother.  I can't even imagine...……………. but I will always be grateful to you and the kids.  

I remember when me and my friends came down to play at your nephews birthday party, I was excited to play that night because you showed up to listen. The smile on your face was golden! Say hi to your Dad for me, I always thought your Dad had the coolest smile and was a true musician. RIP Gibby!

Dear Uncle Gib,

I will always remeber the good times spent at your home in Pomona. I remember a funny story your daughter Christina shared with me about the pool you all built. You all dug a huge hole in the backyard and put a tarp over the hole and filled it up with water...it was awesome! I enjoyed swimming in it...what made me laugh was when you all moved you had the crazy idea of taking the tarp and leaving the huge hole! Hahaha....thank you for the laughs and love over the years. You will be truly missed. Give a huge hug and kiss to Grandpa and Vivian for me. ❤😘

My brother, it's going to be hard to know your not here with us anymore, no one can ever replace a big brother like you, thank you for having my back when i was a kid, you will always be in my heart and prayers, i love you.

Thank you dad for everything! For hanging in there as long as you could when it would have been easier to just give up. Thank you for loving us and wanting more for us in this life.  I wouldn't be who I am today without you.  Its gonna be difficult to wake up every day without you home, walking through the front door and telling you hi or how my day was. It's gonna hurt for a long while, I'm more than willing to go through this pain if it means that you're not in pain.  I love you dad!! 
God take care of my dad, he's earned it...
